Circular caries is the most severe from of deciduous tooth caries. It is also known as baby bottle syndrome. The caries process progresses rapidly and most often occurs on the incisors of the upper jae- these teeth erupt among the first, and they are exposed to various sweetened drinks for the longest time, which are given to children in children's bottles. While the child is sucking or drinking from bottle, the lower teeth are protected by tongue, so this caries is less often localized on them. Circular caries occurs when a child often falls asleep for a long time : -with a bottle containing artificial or real milk juice or sweetened tea -with a pacifier dipped in honey or some thick juice - while breastfeeding. Treating circular caries is a difficult and complex job because this caries quickly affects the deeper structures of the teeth and affects all teeth. Most often, patients come late, when the process has progressed and when complications have arisen. In addition to the conservative care of carious lesion, the application of proper oral hygiene and correction of bad habits and diet is also very important. Also, the use of fluoride agents alleviates the progression of caries and reduces the appearance of new carious lesions.
